Title: The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Experience in the Maritime Silk Road Narrative: Media Translation and Communication Paradigm Innovation of Cultural Symbols

Abstract: As an indispensable part of the cultural circle of the Maritime Silk Road, the development and change of culture in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao not only generates its own cultural identity, but also constantly promotes the generation, development, renewal and transformation of the “Maritime Silk Road” narrative in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The narrative of “Maritime Silk Road” in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao is inseparable from its special geographical environment and writing tradition. It is also derived from its own strong vitality. In the process of development, it skillfully integrates “change” and “invariability” into one, which has become an important symbol of Lingnan culture. The contemporary Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao “Maritime Silk Road” narrative focuses on presenting the new spirit of the times, is good at “renovating” regional cultural symbols, and skillfully uses cross-media creativity to promote the proliferation of works; the future-oriented Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao “Maritime Silk Road” narrative remains rooted in tradition, takes a global perspective, and embodies vitality and potential, which provides a reference for the development of literary narrative and cultural communication in the new era.
