摘要：本文旨在评介江岚教授于2024年编著的《唐诗的域外英译与传播》一书。该书通过钩沉史料，对唐诗的西传进行了系统性的历史审视。宏观上追溯了唐诗在英语世界传播与经典化历程，还原了译介的“历史现场”，揭示出译诗所产生的文学影响和文化意义；微观上又聚焦代表性译者和译本作为个案考察，剖析译者的创译与误读，及其译本的诗学意义与价值。本书对唐诗译介研究具有相当高的文献价值，也为翻译史研究提供了范例。

Title: The Westward Dissemination and Canonization of Tang Poetry: A Review of A History of Western Appreciation of English-translated Tang Poetry by Professor Jiang Lan
Abstract: This article aims to review Professor Jiang Lan’s A History of Western Appreciation of English-translated Tang Poetry (2024). Drawing on extensive historical research and materials, Jiang offers a systematic account of the dissemination and canonization of Tang poetry in the English-speaking world. The study reconstructs the historical contexts in which Tang poetry was translated and explores its literary impact and cultural significance. Representative translators are examined as case studies, with close attention paid to their creative interpretations, mistranslations, and the poetic value of their work. The work is of considerable documentary value for studies on the translation of Tang poetry and serves as a model for research in the translation history of Chinese poetry.
