摘要：张翎“战争的孩子”系列三部曲之《归海》，突破传统战争叙事的宏大框架，以个体命运沉浮为切入点，既深刻呈现了战争后遗症对个体的创伤性影响，更构建了独具特色的历史重述路径。在故事层面，小说以扎实的历史考据为根基，通过虚构却极具现实质感的个人叙事，为宏大历史注入情感温度与个体在场感；在叙事策略上，作品运用元叙述手法，刻意凸显叙事过程中的多重转述、记忆偏差与文学想象，直面历史叙述的模糊性与不确定性。本文指出，《归海》通过在历史真实、文学虚构与叙述模糊性之间的精妙游走，形成了独特的战争书写范式，为北美华人文学的战争叙事实践提供了重要借鉴。

Title: Reinterpreting History Between Fact and Fiction: On the Strategies of War Narrative in Zhang Ling’s Where Waters Meet
Abstract: As part of Zhang Ling’s “Children of War” trilogy, Where Waters Meet departs from the grand narratives of conventional war literature. Centered on the fluctuating fates of individuals, the novel not only reveals the traumatic legacy of war on human lives but also forges a distinctive approach to rewriting history. Story-wise, the work is grounded in rigorous historical research, and its fictional yet powerfully realistic personal narratives lend emotional depth and individual presence to grand historical processes. In its narrative strategy, the novel adopts metanarrative techniques, foregrounding layers of retelling, discrepancies in memory, and acts of literary imagination, thus confronting the ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in historical representation. This essay argues that by delicately negotiating between historical truth, literary fiction, and narrative indeterminacy, Where Waters Meet establishes a unique paradigm of war writing and offers significant insights for war narratives in North American Chinese literature.
