Journal of Language Situation and Language Service（JLSLS）

 The Journal of Language Situation and Language Service (JLSLS) (ISSN 3078 3755) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by HIEP Publishing House, based in Hong Kong. The journal welcomes submissions in both Chinese and English. There are no Article Processing Charges (APC) for submissions, and all content is fully open access. Manuscripts can be submitted via email to lsls2025@163.com. To facilitate the review process, please label your submission with“Name + Title”.Please note: The journal does work with any third parties for manuscript solicitation. All publications are free of charge. The first issue of JLSLS is scheduled to publish in 2025, and the electronic version will be freely available for download on its website: www.lslsjournal.com  (currently under construction).

Scope and Topics

JLSLS focuses on a wide range of topics related to Language Situation and Language Service, including:

•  Language Situation and Language Service;

•  Language planning, language governance, language survey;

•  Language translation, language teaching;

•  Language competence, language function;

•  Language resources and protection;

•  Language industry, language consumption;

•  Language and culture inheritance.

This journal encourages interdisciplinary research, particularly on emerging topics such as the integration of artificial intelligence in Language Situation and Language Service. In line with international standard, JLSLS does not have fixed  sections or columns, but accepts high-quality research within these areas of focus.
